Let’s all welcome new employee Rebecca Mayton, our newest Accounting Associate at LEM! Rebecca graduated from St. Louis University with a B.S.B.A., with an emphasis in Accounting. She spent the next 25 years doing accounting in the construction and transportation industries. She lives in St. Charles County with her husband and two sons. In her free time, Rebecca loves to watch her sons’ sporting activities; baseball and wrestling. She also loves to travel. Learn more about our new employee below!

What is your favorite thing to do outside of work?
I love to spend time with my husband and two sons, attend their sporting events, and travel!
What is your favorite kind of food?
I’m a sucker for a great steak, but I love pasta as well.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Tahiti. My dad had a dream to go there and sadly he passed before he had the chance. I want to go there for him.
What is one thing people don’t know about you that they would be surprised to find out?
I am delighted to be a boy mom (they are nearly grown men now). I’m secretly happy that I do not have a daughter. I am more of a “love getting dirty and dislike dresses and makeup kind of person”.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Healing powers.
What’s one thing on your bucket list?
Participating in a paranormal investigation.
How did you get started in the industry?
Right out of college I went to work for a family transportation company taking care of all the accounting needs. Two years later my husband and I started a construction company. Since then, we have started and maintained numerous businesses and my role has always been behind the scenes keeping everything in order. I guess you could say that I backed into my career and just kept building on it.
