Laura Dalpiaz graduated from Maryville University with a B.S. in Accounting, followed by an MBA with a concentration in Management. She worked in a nonprofit child welfare agency in high school through college, allowing her to travel around the world on humanitarian relief trips, and giving Laura a global perspective on business practices.

In 2005, Laura Dalpiaz founded LEM Business Solutions, LLC, providing bookkeeping, accounting and management services to businesses. Laura is an adjunct professor at Maryville University, St. Louis, MO.  She also serves on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization, Helmets First. She is married and has two daughters, two dogs, and two cats. Laura spends her non-working hours with her wonderful family.
